Very friendly staff. Great customer service. Very highly recommend. The chocolate mousse was delicious!
Great lobster dinner, had to order in advance but worth wait . make sure you make a booking to get a table.
Lovely welcome to clean well spaced restaurant, outlook towards the sea in the daytime, except in late November you expect it to be dark! Lots of interesting old photos on the walls to inspire talking about fabulous Madeira.Ordered the grilled fish platter for two, side orders of chips salad and vegetables. This was the best portioned meal we have had in a month here. Most are far too large, this was perfect, left feeling comfortably full but not stuffed. Shared a crepe susette with icecream which was delicious. Also enjoyed a beautiful green wine (young wine) to accompany our meal. Will definitely return here on our next visit.
It was our last dinner in Madeira, and we went to this restaurant because of the menu and good reviews. The staff is so friendly, professional and adorable! We were told that there are a lot of orders at the time, so dishes will be served ASAP, we were ready to wait 1h, but it was ready in 15 min. Fillet steak was as good as it should be! Also mixed grill dish was very tasty! And mushroom souce is the best!My husband dropped a knife, it was brought away in one second, and after 2 sec the waiter brought the new one.Thank you for nice experience, till next time!!
Lovely family restaurant with exceptional service.Although we had to wait for our food, we were kept well-informed and it was definitely worth it.The charm of this place lies in its simplicity. No need to overdress—just bring a good appetite. We tried:- Fish soup- Chicken liver- Espetada- Steak on stone- Salmon on stone- Homemade crepe- Sides: jacket potatoes, salad, and veggiesEverything was absolutely delicious, with the jacket potatoes and meat being the highlights. We’ll definitely be coming back again.
I found this restaurant by accident, but I wasnt disappointed. The sauces at this place are all home made and you can absolutely taste it.We had the prawns and the espetada. Both were perfectly cooked. Ask the chef about recommendations!!Service was textbook and the prices are more the reasonable for this kind of high class food.I highly recommend this place!
An absolutely amazing restaurant Family owned and run.The food is the best we have eaten on the island. So good we went twice.Make sure you book as it's only small. Thanks for two great meals
